Gerry Robichaud was born and raised in St. Paul, New Brunswick. He began to play the fiddle at an early age with the help of his mother and four other fiddlers in his immediate family. In 1955, Gerry moved his family to Massachusetts. He has won the Mass Federation Championship 5 times, the N.E. Regional Contest 3 times, and has been in the top ten at the National Old Time Fiddlers contest in Idaho. In 2004, Gerry was inducted into the New Brunswick Hall of Fame.
